I do appreciate your honesty though, thanks for the contribution, there’s no opinion I’m not willing listen to. It’s all in good fun, but I do realize that some people, such as yourself, may not find thoughts such as these with much interest. Sure, I let my wording get carried away at times but it’s all for the sake of looking at the world in different ways. It’s a nice looking wallpaper, but that description is unbelievably pretentious.Įqually pretentious is for you you pass such judgment on an observation written simply to look at the photo a different way.

  • It makes for some superb artwork, downloading now… It’s interesting you comment about focus and what we assume and see.

Thank you for making my MacBook Pro even more beautiful. This really rivals your minimal beach pictures. Fiftyfootshadows are the only wallpapers I use. Very cool! I’m assuming there’s a razor thin line of focus towards the bottom but I can’t even tell! :-P The ipad and iphone direct links don’t work.

Thought it would be a nice one for all you minimal lovers out there. The clouds and reflection of the water with the green all lined up with the great color of the late setting sun and just felt right. I shot this while out at the lake again one afternoon, it was on my birthday actually, I was taking minimal photos of a stick of all things and this idea popped into my mind. Then again, maybe for you, the fuzzy memory of a lake may be just what you needed, either way, I hope you enjoy it. Put simply, it’s not nothing, it’s not anything, it’s everything. It lets you visualize whatever it is you need to see there in front of you. It is open space there for your mind to assimalate with. So while you look at this dont look at it and try to focus your mind on what it appears to be but focus it on what isnt there. The beauty of nothing should not be defined as a lack of visual focus, it’s the implied focus that makes it unique to each viewer. It’s the way you automatically define it as out of focus upon first seeing it that insterests me. The photograph above is not of a landscape, it is of air in front of the camera, the space there but not seen. This is a photo for your imagination, your assumptions, and your skeptisism. The way I see it, this image is very much in focus. You can do this with any picture that is in the Photos app of your iPhone or iPad, whether it was taken with the camera, emailed to you, or saved from the web from one of our excellent wallpaper roundup collections. Some of you may see the above photo and think, oh, an out of focus image, but look closer, or maybe further away. If you chose “Set Both” during the setting process, the background wallpaper of both the lock screen and the Home Screen will have been changed to the image in question. That’s all there is to it, now the picture you chose will be the Home Screen wallpaper.

  • Exit out of Photos app and return to the Home Screen by pressing the Home button, you’ll see the background of the iOS device has been set as the picture you chose.
  • Choose “Set Home Screen” to set the picture as the background image of the device (or choose ‘Set Lock Screen’ set it as the picture on the locked device where the clock shows).
  • Arrange the picture as desired, then click on “Set”.
  • Tap on the “Use as Wallpaper” button option.
  • Tap on the sharing button, it looks like a box with an arrow flying out of it.
  • Open the “Photos” app and browse to the picture you want to set as the background wallpaper image.
